Directions to Holly Hagg Farm

We are located on the border of Crookes and Crosspool in the West of Sheffield – Our field is on Long Lane, off Stephen Hill/Back Lane, Crosspool, Sheffield S10 5PY. If driving, the postcode is the nearest but the sat nav will take you to Clough Fields Equestrian Centre so DO NOT TURN UP CLOUGH FIELDS but follow the directions below.

Map showing directions to Holly Hagg Community Farm

From S10:
Take the A57 Manchester Road from Broomhill and just after Crosspool turn right into Stephen Hill (becoming Back Lane), opposite Stephen Hill Methodist Church and the Sportsman pub. Half a mile down the hill, passing Clough Fields on the right (do not go there – ignore the sat nav), turn left into Long Lane at the end of the allotments which are on your left. Be careful not to miss the lane as it is difficult to turn round on Back Lane.

From S11:
From the Hunters Bar/Ecclesall Road direction go up Rustlings Road, left onto Oakbrook Road, Right onto Hangingwater Road, across the lights to Gladstone Road right fork up Ivy Park Road, left turn onto Carsick Hill, across the road to Coldwell Lane, straight across to Hagg Lane, bear right at the end onto Long Lane and park near the field gate on your left. See below.

From S6:
(a) From the Walkley direction come along Bole Hill Road, passing the steep road Hagg Hill on your right (the road you are on is now Back Lane).
(b) From Hillsborough head out of town along Rivelin Valley Road and then turn left up Hagg Hill and right at the top.
(a & b) Holly Hagg is now the field on your right past Hagg Hill so continue until you can turn right into Long Lane.

By Bus
The bus routes to with a 12 minute walk of the field are
(a) Route 51 from S10 – alight at Crosspool, walk back to Manchester Road heading out of town and follow “From S10” directions above
(b) Route 64 from S6 – take the bus down Rivelin Valley Road passing the park and alight just after Hagg Hill on the left. Walk up Hagg Hill following the directions “From S6 (b)” above.

The field entrance gate is half way down Long Lane on the right and there is plenty of parking on Long Lane. Go through the first wooden gate then turn right and through the closed metal gate. Please keep the metal gate closed to keep our animals in the field. If you can’t see anyone follow the gravel path leading towards the lower meadow and keep heading down until you find us.
