Not all alpaca experiences are the same. Our treks grew naturally from our love for the animals and the land. The alpacas joined us as lawn mowers for our community farm and soon became much-loved companions who enjoyed walking with us just for fun.

Our volunteers lead the treks because they love doing it, taking time to introduce each alpaca as an individual with their own quirks and personality. Living in a calm, enriching environment, our alpacas (and llama!) are curious, friendly and genuinely enjoy meeting people. Our walks are peaceful and unhurried, with plenty of time for feeding, bonding, photos and taking in the woodland scenery.
